The means of registering or setting up user accounts in the LMS has changed:
User accounts will now be created automatically if the user has a student or staff UTech account
This change will be in effect as of Monday, Aug 31, 2009.
For New and Existing Users (Students)
YOU MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE STUDENT ACCOUNT IN ORDER TO REGISTER IN THE LMS. The default password "123456" will not work. YOU MUST go to a SCIT lab and reset that default password!!!
Students, at the login screen, enter the username (id number) and password combination associated with the student account used to log on to the computers in the labs.
The username is the same as the id number.
For New and Existing Users (STaff)
Staff, at the login screen, enter the username and password combination that is used to access the UTech Domain, that is, to log on to your computer or to access your UTech email system.
In instances where members of staff are also students enrolled in regular classes, such persons will be required to maintain two separate accounts in the LMS.
